 Too blury
 Too goofy
Just right...just like old times

Week 20

 5-14-13
This is Scott, he was kind of amazing. He's a PT that now works with the volunteers. He has a big passion for amputees and helping them find a healthy identity.
 5-15-13
Carlos! I love, love, love him. He's probably the culprit of my illness. Even if he was, I'd do it all again. He was worth it!
 5-16-13
Sammy! He was one of our translators from my last trip. He came to see me at the hospital. Super fun!
 5-17-13
LJ. Another translator from last time. He picked me up and took me around Haiti a bit...on his motorcycle. Not going to lie...I was a little afraid for my life. But he was super careful.
 5-18-13
Our week finally came to an end. This is the super great team I got to do it all with.
 5-19-13
Jerry brought me a whole bag of mangos on Friday and I snuck one of them into the US. I fully planned on eating it before we got back but it was tucked away in my bag.
5-20-13
First day back and I had to go to work to get a health screening...to get better benefits when I enroll in my insurance plan. Welcome home!

Bonus photos
These sweet girls were playing outside our room one day. I love the look of adoration in the little ones face.
This is the girl with Scott above...she was so loving!
Jerry, he was my personal translator from my last trip. He's the one that brought me the bundle of mangos...unreal...and oh so yummy!

My roommate's floral cheer.
 5-9-13
I have a new dress and might need a new necklace to go with it.
 5-10-13
Sick and traveling. Not so fun. My airplane seatmate was totally looking out for me.
 5-11-13
End of what has been the longest day of my life. Waiting for our ride outside the UN.
 5-12-13
Felt like we'd been there for eternity already. It was only day 2. On the way to dinner. Crammed in the back of the van.
5-13-13
One of the cutest girls in the unit. Waiting on a VP shunt. Showing smiles to everyone that passed by.

Bonus photos
Yep that's a lot of hours! I freaked out a little!
This would be a vodka and Coke. That is the vodka. I have to say after how the start of our week was going..this was looking pretty good!

Week 18

I've had a lot on my plate lately...lots of photos to come...here's week 18

I'm getting a huge hunger to learn more. I'm utilizing all my resources!

I'm sure these were a lot prettier before the SNOW, but I stopped outside of Maasen's to capture them.
 5-5-13
Happy 30th birthday to Shane!
5-6-13
Having a blast hanging out with Maas and Yoh!

I was sitting on my porch swing and noticed how lovely these little blossoms were. Ah smile!

Kari, the one making the silly face was my preceptor when I first started at Mercy. She remains a huge teacher for me and I am so thankful for her!

Week 17

4-23-13
I pulled out this old dvd of a message I heard at Bethel Church in January 2010. It was better this time than it was before. Timing is so important, and I was so thankful for this message.
 4-24-13
Never a dull moment with the Walters clan. It was fun seeing these two, and their mama too!
 4-25-13
So not only did we wear scrubs that were matching exactly, we were in the same room, taking care of the same patient on the day we matched perfectly!
 4-26-13
We hit 90% of our unit filling out a survey and so our managers got us nachos for 4 days. This day one of my co-workers couldn't get the machine to shut off, it was hilarious!
 4-27-13
I love this lady. We have a lot of history together. It's always good to catch up. She's a good one.
 4-28-13
Jack turned 26! We had a really blessed time together on his special day. I'm super excited about what the L-rd is going to do in his life this next year.
4-29-13
I don't even have words for how much of a blessing Brenton and Sharon are to me. We had a very encouraging and hope filled morning. I'm so thankful for both of them in my life.

Bonus photos

I can't believe she's getting so big. She let me braid her hair.
Getting some Hanna loving.
 Meeting little Iva Leigh

BONUS BONUS
So my good friend Angela Maasen is great at finding and coming up with great and fun things to do. This week we went to a side walk chalk art fair. It was a pretty good time. And we got some good photos from it, not to mention the hang out time. That's what I like to call a double bonus for sure!

I like all the people at the top of this photo. Especially the guy that is intense into his drawing.
Talk about master chalk artist. This brother was equipped!
